Free WebMCP capability check

Check whether your website exposes WebMCP tools to AI agents

WebMCP lets a website register structured tools that AI agents can discover, understand and use. Enter a public page address and AG AgentReady will load it in a real browser and report exactly which tools were observed.

Start with your homepage or another public page. We scan up to five public pages for the website diagnostic and separately check selected relevant pages for WebMCP capabilities. Tools can be page-specific, so your report shows exactly where they were observed.

What the check does

Page-specific evidence, observed live

Exact-page verification

The address you submit is the anchor: the report states exactly what was observed on that page.

Selected same-site pages

Relevant pages on the same website are also checked, widening the WebMCP inventory beyond the submitted page.

Source and runtime kept separate

Source-level signals and live browser-observed capabilities are reported separately, so you can see what was actually observed running.

Inspection, never execution

AG AgentReady inspects registered tools and schemas. It does not invoke tools, submit forms or complete customer actions.

Tools can be specific to a single page, so a zero on one successfully checked page is not a website-wide zero — and where a check cannot be completed, the result is unknown, never zero.

Reading the results

What the WebMCP results mean

  1. 01

Tools observed in a live browser

The page registered WebMCP tools when loaded in a real browser. The report lists each tool with its name and description, anchored to the exact page where it was observed.

  2. 02

    Source-level signal only

The page references WebMCP in its code, but no tools were observed at runtime. This is reported as a static signal, not as verified capability.

  3. 03

    No tools observed

The page was successfully checked and no WebMCP tools were observed on it. Because tools are page-specific, this applies only to the pages that were checked.

  4. 04

    Check could not be completed

The live check was blocked, timed out or was otherwise inconclusive. The result is reported as unknown — never treated as zero.

Websites with runtime-verified tools may also appear in the public WebMCP Capability Directory.
